Note: Light guns only work on CRT-based TVs (which includes CRT-based projection TVs). The light gun knows where you're aiming because it can capture the electron gun's location as it sweeps across the screen as it paints the image. LCD, Plasma, DLP, and LCOS sets don't have electron guns, and therefore there is nothing to capture when you pull the trigger.
